Test condition: sliding gate on a level track, 24 V DC motor at rated load. Result: a 400 kg gate opens in 12 s and an 1,800 kg gate in 22 s, with soft start and soft stop on every cycle. Benchmark: fixed-speed AC operators commonly take 25 to 35 s on the same gate weights and slam the gate at the end of travel.
Test condition: 50 mm obstacle introduced into the closing path of a 400 kg sliding gate, force measured at the leaf edge. Result: force limited to below 140 N and full reversal initiated within 0.4 s. Benchmark: EN 12453 permits up to 400 N for a force-limited operator, so this runs well inside the limit.
